Topsham people have once again turned out to raise funds for working animals.
The Brooke Topsham Supporters Group coffee morning and sale took place at Matthews Hall, with a wide range of goods being sold
A total of £669 was raised for The Brooke, which supports working horses, donkeys and mules in countries such as Egypt, where the charity has distributed food to animals affected by a lack of tourists following last year’s revolution.
Charity secretary Wendy Brookes said: “We have very generous supporters. They make cakes and donate goods we can sell, and most people who learn about the charity are very supportive.”
The group plans to hold its next coffee morning in the spring.
