Fire crews were called out yesterday evening to reports of petrol leaking from a motorcycle in Exmouth.

One fire appliance attended the incident in Salisbury Road at 10.12pm, and confirmed a leak from a motorcycle on the public highway.

Fire crews stemmed the leak and absorbed the spilt fuel using an Environment Agency kit, before leaving the incident in the hands of police.
