Firefighters have been called to deal with a blaze at a building site in Littleham.

A crew from Exmouth attended the incident, on a building site in Douglas Avenue, and found a small fire involving a shipping container used as a canteen.

Crews put out the fire using breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and a thermal image camera.

Fifty percent of the container was damaged by fire and the remainder was damaged by smoke and water.

A fire service spokesman said the fire was believed to be accidental.
