Fire at Littleham wood processing plant

Fire crews were called out this morning to a fire at a wood processing plant in Littleham.

Crews were called at 11.41am to reports of a building fire in Pankhurst Close.

On arrival, two appliances from Exmouth Fire Station discovered there was a fire in a dust compactor unit.

Crews using breathing apparatus managed to extinguish the fire, having contained it to inside the dust compactor unit.
