Fire crews were called to Woodbury on Saturday morning to deal with reports of a car fire.

One fire appliance attended the incident, in Brent Close, and found the vehicle well alight.

The fire was extinguished using two firefighters in breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the cause of the fire was accidental, and the vehicle suffered 25 per cent fire damage.
