FUNDRAISER: The latest family bingo evening is taking place at Marpool Primary School.

It is being held in the school hall in Moorfield Road, on February 3. Doors open at 6pm for eyes down at 6.30 pm.

There are some great prizes to be won. Refreshments will be on sale and there will also be a raffle. All profits will go to the school PTA fund.

CHARITY SHOW: A charity cookery show is being held to help build a school in Uganda.

The Ready Steady Cook Show is taking place on Exmouth Community College’s Green Close site on February 11, at 10.30am.

The money raised will buy equipment for a team from Brixington Community Church, who will be travelling to Uganda this Easter to help finish building the school.

Tickets cost £2.50, and are available from Attitude hairdressers in Exeter Road.

PLAN BACKED: Plans to build a replacement annexe at Long Orchard, Strawberry Hill, Lympstone, have been approved by the parish council.

The plan will now be considered by East Devon District Council.
