Families have again been able to find out more about nature during the school holidays thanks to Otterton Mill and the RSPB.

The charity held its latest free nature day at the mill, including guided nature walks along the River Otter and children’s activities.

The RSPB’s Jennifer Avery said: “it was fantastic to see lots of families out enjoying nature in the sunshine. There were lots of butterflies out, so clearly spring has finaly sprung.

“We talked to families about how to give nature a home in their garden, and what we do across Devon.”

Otterton Mill co-owner Caroline Spiller said: “It was another very successful day in partnership with the RSPB. We are looking forward to our next nature day which will be on Friday, May 30, during half term week.”
