Police are appealing for information about the man in these CCTV images, believing he could help with a counterfeit cash investigation in Exmouth.

Officers said it was alleged a customer at the Co-op, in The Magnolia Centre, paid for shopping with a fake £50.

Devon and Cornwall police have released a description of a man they would like to speak to, believing he could hold vital information about the counterfeit cash.

He is said to be aged in his 20s with short dark hair, and of a slim build.

Police said the incident happened at 5.20pm on Monday June 9, 2014.

If you can help police with their appeal for information, call 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111, and quote crime number CR/080215/14.
