Exmouth store in charity campaign

Shoppers at an Exmouth store are being invited to take part in a fundraising raffle for local animal charities.

Pets at Home in Liverton Business Park is teaming up with Support Adoption for Pets, the UK’s largest grant giving animal charity, to raise money for the East Devon branch of Cats Protection and the RSPCA’s Little Valley Animal Shelter.

The fundraising is part of a national campaign, but organisers say money raised in Exmouth will go to the local charities.

As well as the £1 raffle, for the chance to win prizes including a new car, customers can also take part in the ‘round up to £1’ initiative, whereby they opt to round up the cost of their purchases to the nearest pound, with the difference being donated to the appeal.

The fundraising drive will run until May 13.
