An angling boat which suffered engine failure was towed back to port by Exmouth’s all-weather lifeboat.
Exmouth’s all-weather lifeboat towed a 25-foot fishing vessel back to Teignmouth on Sunday lunchtime when the boat’s engine failed.
Exmouth RNLI said Brixham coastguard requested the launch of the Margaret Jean lifeboat to aid the angling vessel, which was in Lyme Bay.
The RNLI said the boat was 11 miles south east of Exmouth with two people on board when the engine refused to start because of an electrical problem.
The volunteer lifeboat crew towed the stricken vessel back to its home port.
