Prayers will be said and hymns sung for those who live and work by the sea when Exmouth RNLI holds its annual Sea Sunday service at the boathouse on July 13, at 3pm.

Exmouth RNLI Chaplain Reverend James Hutchings, who is Priest-in-charge at Holy Trinity Church will be taking the service, while special guests for this year’s service include members of the Budleigh Salterton Male Voice Choir and musical accompaniment by Exmouth Town Concert Band.

Members of the Exmouth lifeboat fundraising team will take part in readings from the Bible. The institution’s standard will be paraded for the service, plus station volunteers will be in attendance.

The new Shannon-class lifeboat R and J Welburn will be on display on the ramp, plus the Shannon launch and recovery system.

A collection will be held during the service to raise money towards the ongoing fundraising for Exmouth RNLI.
