Exmouth pub to host cider festival and other news

Exmouth’s Powder Monkey is holding a cider festival. Read this and more.

FAMILY TREE: Members of the Devon Family History Society will be at Devon County Council’s Devon Record Office next month to help for people tracing their family trees.

On Thursday, July 12, between 10am and 3pm, the public can book a free 45-minute slot to find out more about using genealogy websites and accessing records.

FESTIVAL: Exmouth’s Powder Monkey is holding a cider festival from July 11-29.

During the 19-day festival the pub will offer up to 16 draught and bottled ciders from cider makers in England and Wales.

The selection will include traditional ciders, fruit ciders and perries - pear cider.
