MARK YOUR PROPERTY: Police are offering those living in rural areas free property marking.
Officers will mark items with your postcode in a bid to deter thieves. Exmouth police recommend people take photographs of valuable items, such as jewellery, which can help identify the rightful owner of the property if it is stolen. Make a note of any distinguishing marks or serial numbers. High-value property can be registered, for free, at www.immobilise.com For more information, call PCSO Sarah Trayhurn, at Exmouth, on 101.
-----
CONFIRMATION: There will be a confirmation at Exmouth’s Holy Trinity Church later this year and those interested in being confirmed are asked to get in touch. The confirmation takes place at 4pm, on Sunday, May 5, and classes will be arranged in preparation for the event. For more details, or to register, call the parish office on 01395 272239.
-----
