Exmouth: Man trapped in cat flap

A man who was trapped in his cat flap in The Marles was freed by Exmouth firefighters, using small tools.

Exmouth firefighters rescued a man from Brixington who was trapped in a cat flap at a home in The Marles.

The crew was called to the property shortly before 11pm on Saturday night.

The police and paramedics also attended the scene.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The fire service was called to reports of a person stuck in a cat flap. Upon arrival crews got to work with small tools to release the person.

“One appliance from Exmouth attended this incident.”
