Exmouth chef in TV final tonight

10:08 19 July 2012

You can watch a top Exmouth chef and his wife in the challenge of their lives tonight (Thursday) in the finals of a competition on Channel Five to find the UK’s best restaurateurs.

Olivier Guyard, 49, and Sheila Guyard-Mulkerrin, 50, of Les Saveurs, Tower Street, go head-to-head with three of the top culinary couples around the UK.

Marco Pierre White presents the final of Kitchen Wars, which will see the four couples each serving 28 diners their best menu in just two hours.

Olivier and Sheila specialise in sea food. He learnt his trade in Michelin-starred eateries, but Sheila only works part-time in the restaurant. However, she did do a stint in the military, so her organisational skills could be vital in the middle of service.

● Watch the action at 8pm on Channel Five (July 19).
