An Exmouth charity shop is appealing for new volunteers to lend a hand.
Volunteers are being sought by an Exmouth charity shop dedicated to fighting cancer.
The Cancer Research UK charity shop, on The Parade, is appealing to anyone with a few hours to spend a week, to lend a hand.
Manager Kirsty Jordan said she was keen to hear from people willing to give just a few hours to those able to volunteer daily.
She said every little helped the charity shop bring in extra funds.
Kirsty said mums with free time on their hands now the children had returned to school could be interested in helping.
She said the voluntary positions could also help the unemployed get back to work because as well as offering retail experience, volunteers could also gain a reference for their work at the charity shop.
Kirsty said: “Absolutely anyone is welcome to volunteer. We need a bit of everything - any hours that anyone can give, whether it’s an hour or five days.
“We are a bit short of volunteers at the moment. Without volunteers the shop can’t run. They are so important.”
l If you would like to volunteer, drop into the shop and ask for Kirsty and an application form.
