Exe Valley Pizza Company brought its mobile van to Withycombe Raleigh Primary School to show year three pupils how healthy savoury snacks are made.

Some 90 children spent the day creating their own pizzas with Richard and Ann, from Exe Valley Pizza Company.

A spokesperson for the company said the primary school was taking a ‘proactive step’ to engage with children learning about good healthy food.

Year three teacher Emma Rogers added: “All 90 of our year three children had a fantastic day and were delighted they could all make their very own pizza.

“Ann and Richard from Exe Valley Pizza Co were amazing with the children, explaining exactly how pizzas were made and helping them to cook their own.

“Each child and us grown ups agreed the pizzas were delicious.”
