A former government economist has been appointed as a new partner at an Exmouth accountants firm.

Thompson Jenner LLP, in Alexandra Terrace, has announced that Paul Lewis took up the position as of Sunday, April 1.

Mr Lewis has a background working in Japan and Australia before qualifying as a chartered accountant in 2003.

He said: “I am delighted to be taking on the role of Partner at such an exciting time for Thompson Jenner. We have a great team and I relish the opportunity to work at the highest level within the firm and with our clients.

”I am really looking forward to playing my part in growing our firm and client base over the coming years at Partner level.”

Managing partner Neil Curtis said: “His commitment and hard work over a number of years has been important to our continued success and his appointment is just reward.”
