Part of Hulham Road will be closed for the next two days while works take place to clean the gullys on both sides of the road.

A section of a busy Exmouth road will be closed for the next two days for gully cleaning works to take place.

Hulham Road is closed from the junction with Dinan Way to the point where the B3178 Woodbury Common Road becomes the B3179.

Devon County Council has closed the road until the end of tomorrow (Wednesday, November 15) to allow them to clean the gullys on both sides of the road.

The county council says the outlet pipes between the gullys between the junction with the B3179 and Exe View Road are blocked with debris.

A diversion is in place via the B3179, Higher Marley Road, Bystock Road and Dinan Way.

The road is due to re-open on Thursday, November 16.
