An Exmouth-based vet has obtained her post-graduate qualification marking the end of five years of studying.

Emily Parr, of Raddenstiles Veternary Surgery, based at Liverton Business Park, has received her certificate in veterinary business management from Liverpool University.

She qualified as a vet in 2010 and has now obtained her post-graduate qualification after five years of studying modules to obtain her award in veterinary practice with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Emily, who went to school in East Devon, said: “It was a proud moment to go up on stage and receive my post graduate certificate from the Vice Chancellor on graduation day at Liverpool University.

“It is no mean feat to undertake the amount of study required to achieve the qualification, especially as a working mum.

“I am very grateful to my family and colleagues for their support.
