Audiences can get into costume and go Into the Woods in June

Opening night for Exmouth Musical Theatre Company’s (EMCo) Into the Woods is less than three weeks away.

Multi–award-winning EMCo is proud to present Stephen Sondheim’s family-friendly, funny, touching and magical mixture of the most famous fairy tales, including Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and Beanstalk and Rapunzel.

The cast are running the entire show in rehearsals and the seamstresses are putting the finishing touches to some fabulous fairytale costumes.

The show has something for everyone and its famous characters make it a huge hit with children and grown-ups alike.

A special matinée performance on Saturday, June 9, at 2.30pm has all full-price tickets at just £10. Even better than that, there is an amazing price for those of 16 years and under of just £5 per ticket for every performance.

To make the matinée performance extra special, the children in the audience are invited to come in their favourite fantastical fairytale fancy-dress.

EMCo would love to fill the Pavilion theatre with princes and princesses, kings and queens, witches and wolves or anyone else who’d like to dress up and go ‘into the woods’.

There will be prizes for the best fancy-dress and a chance for everyone to meet the real Cinderella, Prince Charming, Red Riding Hood, Wicked Witch and Scary Wolf on stage after the show.

Into the Woods will be performed from June 6 - 9 and tickets are
