Exmouth Men’s Shed open day will showcase new activities

Exmouth Men’s Shed open day marks the start of the project expanding to offer arts-based activities in addition to the wood workshop.

Peter Chalkley, Men’s Shed project leader said: “The open day is open to all men to come and see the shed in action and to try a range of different activities.”

Exmouth’s Men’s Shed is holding an open day on Wednesday, January 31 to highlight a new range of activities and skill sessions.

In addition to the usual Men’s Shed workshop, Clayton House, Littleham, will be hosting sessions throughout the day; men can take part in wood carving, scroll saw and fine art.

The open day marks the start of the project expanding to offer arts-based activities in addition to the wood workshop.

Peter Chalkley, Men’s Shed project leader, said: “The open day is open to all men to come and see the shed in action and to try a range of different activities.

“Whether you’re a complete beginner or an expert, whether you’re interested in wood carving, scroll saw or fine art, or you’ve got other arts based interests you’d like us to offer, come on down and get involved.”

Drop in anytime between 10am and 2pm, adjacent to Clayton House Community Centre off Salterton Road, Littleham, opposite MPS Windows.
