Exmouth Town Council will be temporarily closed from January 29-30 while office equipment and phones are moved to its new home.

The authority is relocating back to Exmouth Town Hall, in St Andrews Road, from its current base in Rolle Street.

The new office, which will be on the first floor, will then be open to the public from Wednesday, January 31.

The council’s operating hours will be Mondays to Thursdays, 9am to 5pm, and Fridays from 9am to 4.30pm, excluding bank holidays.

Exmouth Town Council has direct responsibility for tourist information, Gorfin Hall, the Jubilee Clock Tower, Exmouth Festival, festoon lighting along the seafront, Christmas lights, allotments, flower towers and supplementary town maintenance work including grass-cutting and weeding.

The town council’s telephone and email contact details will remain unchanged – 01395 276167 or reception@exmouth.gov.uk, and information is available at www.exmouth.gov.uk.
