Birthday celebrations have been held at an Exmouth fish and chip shop to mark a successful first year of business.

Daniel Hennesy, a spokesman for the Proper Fish and Chips Co, said: “We are really happy to be celebrating the end of our first year in Exmouth.

“We’ve met so many fantastic people and have loads of lovely customers.

“We want to thank them all for their support this year and look forward to serving them in 2018.”

He added: “Exmouth is such a special place to live and we feel incredibly lucky to be here.”
