Exeter man captures Exmouth from the sky

Archant

Exmouth’s stunning coastline has been recorded from the unique aerial angle of a quadcopter.

Sprawling golden sands, glittering blue waves and plenty of people splashing in the sea may be something you only associate with ‘dream holidays’ in exotic faraway destinations.

But a man who spent the majority of his life living in Exmouth has captured the scene - by flying an aerial drone along the length of the town’s sandy coastline

Jacob Collinson, 21, decided to put his DJI Phantom Vision 2+ quadcopter to good use, capturing Exmouth and Cranbrook from the sky.

Now living in Exeter, Jacob said: “I saw the quadcopter and it amazed me - it was a bit of an impulse buy.

“I have got more footage that I haven’t shown yet. I just wanted to show the footage I had got and the unique perspective it offers.”
