ORGAN RECITAL: An organ recital by the assistant director of music at Exeter Cathedral is being given at Withycombe Parish Church this Saturday.

David Davies will be performing at 7.30pm. Tickets in aid of the church’s organ fund are priced £6 including refreshments.

MOTORCYCLE RALLY: The Devon Air Ambulance Trust is asking motorcyclists to save the date to take part in the charity’s annual motorcycle ride on Sunday, July 14.

More than 750 motorcyclists took part in last year’s event, raising funds for the helicopter lifeline.

The 2013 ride will again start at South Molton, following an 84-mile scenic route through countryside and ending at Teignmouth.

Live music, food stalls, a beer tent and trade stands will be set for the end, along with a bouncy castle and face painting for the youngsters.
