A young photographer from Lympstone is celebrating after being named as a winner in a charity photo contest.

Ten-year-old Elliott Hodge, who attends Lympstone Primary School, was one of just six lucky junior winners in the Devon Air Ambulance Trust’s ‘Capturing Devon’ competition.

As part of his prize, Elliott joined the other winners at a master class with Devon-based wildlife photographer Richard Austin at Crealy Great Adventure Park.

Elliott will also see his photo appear in the charity’s 2013 calendar, which is now available at all of the charity’s shops for just £5, or at www.daat.org.
