Schoolchildren from Exmouth have enjoyed an inspirational talk from a prize-winning author.

Michelle Paver, who won the Guardian Children’s Fiction Prize for her Chronicles of Ancient Darkness series, visited the town as part of a tour to promote her latest series, Gods and Warriors.

At Exmouth Community College, she spoke to the college’s year seven pupils, and also year six pupils from Exmouth primary schools.

As well as listening to the talk, pupils were also able to buy signed copies of one of her books.
