Families were full of festive cheer when the Devoncourt Hotel switched on its Christmas lights.

Exmouth’s Devoncourt Hotel was full of festive fever when families flocked for the traditional Christmas lights switch-on.

Every year the hotel puts on an illuminated display in its gardens, with a nativity scene and Santa among the attractions.

With entertainment, singing and a hand bell performance from Centre Stage members, the hotel’s Christmas celebrations got off to a fine start.

Jamie Dawe, assistant manager, said the festivities attracted more than 150 people keen to share the hotel’s Christmas spirit.

He said the staff enjoyed seeing families return year after year to see the illuminations and soak up the festive fun.
