Concert cash joy for Sidmouth Macmillan

15:13 23 February 2012

A SPECIAL one-off classical concert by the ISCA Ensemble at Sidmouth Parish Church on Saturday raised more than £550 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The event was staged to celebrate 100 years of Macmillan. Organiser Joyce Burnham, Chairman Macmillan Cancer Support Sidmouth, issued a “huge thank you” to all who attended and concert conductor Roger Hendy.

She added: “The concert kept us all enthralled, not only the beautiful music, the candles and acoustics in the church all added to the atmosphere.”
