HEALTHY DAY: A group of complementary therapists is holding a fundraising day in aid of Age Concern.

Good Health Exmouth is holding the event to raise funds to buy a computer for the charity’s clients to use at its New North Road day centre.

The event takes place at the day centre on February 23 between 11am and 4pm, and will be free to enter.

Tea and coffee will be on sale, and there will be a £5 charge to try out different therapies.

EXTRA SESSIONS: Exeter City’s Football in the Community charity is extending the range of its popular children’s football roadshows for the upcoming February half-term.

A course takes place at Lympstone Marine Camp on Wednesday and Thursday, February 20/21, and costs £27.

In Exeter, a two-day course at St Luke’s Science and Sports College kicks off half-term, starting on Monday, February 18, and costing £27 for the two days. A special goalkeepers’ and strikers’ day is being held at Middlemoor on Friday, February 22,(£15), while on the same day a Star Tots event (£6) for three to six-year-olds will be held indoors at St Luke’s.

The growing popularity of futsal - a fast-paced form of indoor football - has encouraged the charity to organise an event at the University’s Sports Hall on Friday, February 22, (£12), for children.
