Coast to Coast tour aids Exmouth RNLI

An Exmouth-born soprano who returned to the stage where she performed her first ever solo has helped raise more than £400 for the RNLI.
Rebecca Newman brought her Coast to Coast tour to Exmouth Pavilion, helping to raise £467, which will fund a new launch and recovery system for the Shannon class lifeboat arriving at Exmouth RNLI towards the end of 2013.

An Exmouth-born soprano who returned to the stage where she performed her first ever solo has helped raise more than £400 for the RNLI.

Rebecca Newman brought her Coast to Coast tour to Exmouth Pavilion, helping to raise £467, which will fund a new launch and recovery system for the Shannon class lifeboat arriving at Exmouth RNLI towards the end of 2013.

Volunteers from Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton Fundraising Guild helped boost the total with a bucket collection on the night.

Cash raised from Rebecca’s Exeter performance will also benefit Exmouth RNLI’s forthcoming lifeboat system.
