A large number of Christmas church services for Exmouth and surrounding areas have been announced.

From Nine Lessons and Carols to Christingle services, crib services, midnight mass and more, there’s plenty of opportunity for worship during the build-up to Christmas.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 16

NINE LESSONS AND CAROLS: Holy Trinity, Rolle Street. 4pm. Organised by volunteers at Exmouth lifeboat station. Choir 97 will be leading the carols by candlelight with Exmouth RNLI volunteers reading lessons. Afterwards, mulled wine and mince pies will be served. All welcome. Retiring collection to help Exmouth lifeboat crew save lives at sea.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 17

NINE LESSONS AND CAROLS: St John the Evangelist, Withycombe Village Road. 6pm.

CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT: Brixington Church, Churchill Road. 6.30pm.

NINE LESSONS AND CAROLS: Holy Trinity, Rolle Street. 6.30pm.

NINE LESSONS AND CAROLS: St Andrews and St Margarets, Littleham. 6.30pm.

MONDAY, DECEMBER 18

CANDLELIT LESSONS AND CAROLS: Lympstone Parish. 8pm.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 23

CHRISTINGLE SERVICE: Lympstone Parish. 5pm.

MASS: All Saints, Exeter Road. 8am.
