Topsham charity Devon in Sight has announced a new way for people to contribute to its vital work of helping people with sight loss.

The charity has teamed up with Virgin Money, so members of the public can now donate online.

The page on the Virgin Money Giving site allows people to make a one-off donation, or set up regular payments.

It will also help people to collect donations for Devon in Sight if they are taking part in an organised event such as the London Marathon, or even setting up their own fundraising event or challenge.

Charity operations manager Grahame Flynn said: “We know how technology is changing the way people do things, and the Virgin Money Giving website makes it very easy for our friends and supporters to help to fund our vital work.

“We receive no funding from central government, so every penny really does count. We’re really pleased to be able to link up with Virgin Money on this exciting new development.”
