Police helicopter involved in raid on village property as officers execute a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act
A large number of cannabis plants and cultivation equipment was seized during a major police operation at Thorncombe last night (Monday).
Officers from Lyme Regis and Bridport, supported by specialist units from Weymouth, a police dog and the force helicopter, took part in the raid at an address in the village, executing a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating a controlled substance, and has since been bailed for further enquiries.
