Salterton Road closed to traffic while fire crews tackle blaze
Salterton Road was closed earlier this morning while fire crews tackled a bungalow blaze.
Crews from Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton and Exeter fought the fire, which the fire service said started in the kitchen of the property and spread to the roof.
The road, near Raddenstile Lane, was reopened to traffic shortly after 10am.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus, and used two hose reels and a street water hydrant to fight the fire.
