Budleigh Salterton Carnival organisers are holding a fundraising jumble sale on Easter Saturday (March 31) at the town’s Public Hall from 10am to noon.

As well as a wide variety of stalls, refreshments will also be available, plus a raffle.

The event is in aid of the Budleigh Salterton Carnival and the Carnival Club, to raise funds for this year’s event.

For more details, call Julie Meredith, Budleigh Carnival secretary, on 01395 442067.

This year’s carnival is on September 29.

“We’re hoping it will be bigger and better than last year,” said Julie.

“And because it’s on the East Devon circuit, we will probably get more floats and more entries than we did last year.”

A jumble sale held at Budleigh Salterton’s Temple Methodist Church in mid-February raised £330 for local charities.

The money has been given in equal amounts to the Parent Toddler and Baby Group, Hospiscare and Temple Methodist church.
