A traditional tea room in Budleigh Salterton’s town centre has been put on the market.

The Cosy Teapot, in Fore Street, is available through agents Stonesmith as a leasehold for £99,950.

One of Budleigh town centre’s cafés, The Cosy Teapot is just one of a handful of businesses in the town centre which is now available.

The business is described as a ‘thriving and well-regarded daytime only traditional tea rooms and tea garden’.

According to the agent, the ‘brook-side’ café occupies a ‘prominent’ trading position in the town just 100-metres from the main beach.

The premises has a ‘purposely fitted and equipped’ shop and a recently refurbished kitchen.

There is also a external seating area and a main tea room ‘comfortably’ seating 26 customers. It also has a brook-side terrace allowing for a further 18 customers.
