This year’s Budleigh Jazz Festival – spread across three days at the Budleigh Salterton Public Hall – saw ‘something for everyone’.

The programme ranged from big band to blues, instrumental, traditional and vocal.

“It covered all tastes in jazz,” said Arnold Kanarek for the festival organisers. “Long may it continue.”

Highlights included the Craig Milverton Trio with the ‘Three Tenors’ (saxophonists Alan Bateman, Julian Marc Stringle and Scott Hamilton), vocalist Tina May, a storming set from Zoe Schwarz Blue Commotion and Brian Moore’s Wind Machine.
