A Budleigh couple who proved it is never too late to find love online are now preparing to give a talk to help others.

As previously reported by the Journal, John Humphreys, 87, and wife Judith, 84, met through a dating website.

The couple, who have now been married for three years, will be speaking at Budleigh Salterton Health and Wellbeing Hub on November 9 at 10.30am, offering tips based on their own experiences on how best to use online dating, and some dos and don’ts.

Judith said that they aim to help older, lonely people, who may be daunted by the prospect of using the internet.

She said she had been encouraged to give the talk after being told by her doctor that there were many lonely people in Budleigh Salterton.

The talk is free to attend.

Those wishing to attend should reserve a place in advance by calling the hub on 01395 446896.
