THERE was plenty of “Ho ho ho” at Brixington Primary School’s Christmas Fayre recently.

As well as Santa – who arrived in his sleigh with reindeer and some helpers – there was much fun to be had with numerous prize games, including an hilarious Beat the Buzzer challenge.

In addition there was a Christmas money tree, an opportunity to choose presents for parents and wrap them in the adult gift room, and craft stalls where children were able to create Christmas tree decorations.

The event was organised by the school’s parent teacher association.

“It was a great occasion and a very successful evening,” said PTA secretary Jenny Ames. “All the staff came together to support us and we raised in the region of £1,600, which was great for school funds.”
