Brixington fire: child treated for smoke inhalation

Exmouth firefighters wore breathing apparatus to extinguish a small fire in Brixington on Thursday morning.
A family was treated for smoke inhalation on Thursday morning after a fire broke out in a home in Brixington.
Firefighters were called to Lime Grove shortly before 8am where they found a small fire had broken out in the lounge of the property.
Paramedics treated two adults and a child for smoke inhalation at the scene.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “On their arrival crews were able to confirm that all persons were out of the property.
“Crews found a small fire in the lounge of the property which they extinguished using four breathing apparatus wearers and one hose reel jet.
“A positive pressure ventilation Fan was in use as the property was heavily smoke logged.”
