A bus is ‘well ablaze’ on the A3052 junction with Beer, leaving the road shut police have said.

A coach is ‘well ablaze’ on the A3052’s junction to Beer, say police.

Firefighters were called to the scene at 4.11pm on the Hangman’s Stone turn-off.

A police spokesperson said the blaze ‘melted the road’, and the driver and passengers made it off the vehicle safely.

The road has since been closed at the junction on the B3172 and A3052, said a force spokesperson.
