Archant

Hospiscare’s East Devon Hospice appeal has received a funding boost thanks to a salmon supper held in Budleigh.

The event, organised by the Budleigh branch of the Conservative Party, raised £200 for the charity, as well as £75 for charities supported by In Achord, who performed at the event.

A cheque has now been handed over to Hospiscare’s Sarah Smith by town and district councillor Tom Wright, the Budleigh Conservative branch chairman, who said: “It was a really good evening, and I would like to thank those who prepared and served the food, and all who attended for their generous support of this very worthwhile cause.”
