The college has announced on social media and its website that the annual event has been cancelled due to waterlogged fields.

Bicton College’s popular Lambing Sunday event due to take place this weekend has been cancelled.

The decision to call off the event, due to take place on Sunday, March 18, was announced on the college’s social media and website.

A spokesman for the college said: “Our beloved Lambing Sunday event, due to take place on Sunday, March 18, has been cancelled.

“Recent wet weather has meant the fields are too waterlogged to park safely and the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for strong wind and snow for Sunday in the area.”
