An Exmouth residential home is celebrating after it was praised for its high standards of care.
The Abbeyfield Exmouth Society at Harding House has been awarded the Abbeyfield Gold Star following an assessment of its services by an internal assessor from the Abbeyfield Office in St Albans. The award recognises the consistently high quality of services delivered by staff and volunteers, and was presented by chairman of Devon County Council Bernard Hughes.
Society chairman Richard Buckler said: “It was a lot of work but it was worth it. With this award, and our 5-star rating for catering, we can reassure residents, potential residents and their families of the high standards of services and support we are able to offer at Harding House.”
Harding House has also announced that it will be holding an Autumn Fayre and Open House on September 21.
