A large quantity of drugs, cash, and three vehicles have been seized by police after a raid on a property in Brixington.

Officers from the regional organised crime unit Zephyr raided the property in Bankside at about 12.15pm yesterday.

Officers arrested a 49-year-old man on suspicion of the possession of drugs with intention to supply and also money-laundering.

The seized drugs are believed to be heroin with a street value of more than £50,000, which will now be forensically examined.

A further warrant was executed at a property in Countess Weir in Exeter and a 39-year-old man arrested for money-laundering.

During the two operations officers also seized three vehicles.

A large quantity of cash was also uncovered by officers.
