The annual anti-slavery ‘sherry morning’ has raised £2,273.71 to help in the fight against child labour, sexual exploitation and human trafficking.

The fundraiser took place in the Globe in Lympstone and featured an afternoon of music from artists including Poppy Challis, Dave Gwilliam, Bobbie King, Harry Dearsley and Lorrie Ward.

Graham Martin said: “This year the draw raised 13 per cent more than last year.

“Thank you to Ange and Mike of the Globe for hosting the afternoon and for the marvellous food.”
