A 70-year-old man on an epic sponsored walk has stopped off in Exmouth as part of his 18-month journey across the UK.
Andy Peddle is strolling nearly 8,000 miles to raise £100,000 for the Salvation Army’s work with homeless people and victims of human trafficking.
Andy, who was dressed in a top hat and tails, started his trek in May last year in the Shetlands and has visited the majority of the UK’s Salvation Army churches and charity shops.
Having visited Exmouth, Andy continued on his way, and is expecting to finish his walk in October 2013 in London.
