The annual Otterton Spring Show was held recently in Otterton Village Hall.
The sight of masses of daffodils staged in tiers against a black background greeted visitors to the hall when they entered the building.
There were also displays of other Spring plant including camellias and hellebores as well as floral decorations, pot plants, photographs and cookery items.
Despite fears that the daffodils would be over, and an apparent epidemic of slugs and snails 33 exhibitors managed to stage well over 200 entries making the show a great success.
The judge of the flowers commented on the high quality of the blooms on display.
Despite the inclement weather on the day a good number of people came through the door to view the show many commenting favourably on the displays.
